The undead brought canned food for the living to the first annual Marietta Zombie Walk, Oct 29. Gary Hasty, the event organizer hopes to make it an even bigger event next year. After graduating college, instead of finding a job, Stacey Povian did something a little unconventional. She traveled as a missionary to 11 countries in 11 months.
During these 11 months, Povian learned things about herself and the needs of others around the world. Human trafficking, poverty and orphans were some of the issues that touched her the most. She says she doesn’t remember the old Stacey and that this experience changed her life forever.
Povian is currently helping others do what she did by working for the admissions department in Adventures in Missions located in Gainesville, Georgia.
